Biography

Adetola holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile- Ife, Nigeria) and master’s degree in the same discipline from Masdar Institute Abu Dhabi, and specializes in carbon dioxide capture, separation/purification processes, and process plant design and optimization. His doctorate research focuses on development of nanoadsorbents-supported in-situ polymerized amines for carbon dioxide (CO2) capture from low concentration CO2 sources include cogeneration power plants flue gases and direct air capture. He has held previous work roles in process energy and business development firms and was a partner at a project management firm in Dubai where he worked on business improvement strategies for enhanced efficiency in clients’ operations within the energy industry.
