EERG – ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT RESEARCH GROUP

Akram AbdulHakeem Al-Absi

I obtained my BSc in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2017. Directly after finishing my BSc, I started a Master of Science program in chemical engineering at the same university, with my research on “Direct Conversion of Whole Crude oils to Chemicals ”. In 2019, I joined the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department at University of Calgary as a PhD student. My research work focuses on the direct air capture of CO2.
