Detailed information

Kasra completed his Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology (Iran) in 2013, where his research focused on the removal of phenol from wastewater using adsorption processes. Subsequently, he conducted extensive research on CO₂ adsorption and separation utilizing various types of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), resulting in publications in reputable journals. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary under the guidance of Dr. Mahinpey. Kasra’s doctoral research focuses on investigating the impact of SOx and NOx on CO2 adsorption from OTSG/cogeneration flue gas.
