Prabhav Thapa completed his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal. After graduation, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Green Hydrogen Lab, Kathmandu University. His current research focuses on synthesizing silica-based sorbents for CO2 capture. He is currently pursuing his MSc in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Mahinpey at the University of Calgary.
As a part of my chemical engineering process, I attended an internship and worked on the methane steam reforming modelling.

As part of my chemical engineering studies at the SIGMA school in Clermont, France, I had to do a 15-week internship. As I am specializing in process and energy engineering, I chose to do this internship at the University of Calgary.
